Carlos F. Londono - Mediator
Carlos Londono, is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator, skilled in settling circuit civil and pre-litigation disputes (No. 40049 R). Prior to his graduate work, he was a Litigation Paralegal handling various complex Circuit Civil commercial litigation matters. He has significant experience in handling legal disputes in the areas of Construction Defect, and Insurance Bad Faith, Contract Disputes, as well as Personal Injury.
His unique perspective is also informed by previous work as an international liaison in assisting foreign experts, artist, sports figures, and foreign investors, as a translator with experience in investigating and writing petitions on behalf of individuals of investors and people of extraordinary ability.
He studied International Economics, Social Psychology, and Communications at Florida Atlantic University and has a Masters of Science in Global Strategic Communications with a Graduate Certificate in Conflict Resolution and Negotiation from Florida International University.
He also holds the highest certified proficiency in English and Spanish translation.
The role as a mediator is informed primarily by the understanding that we are there to help facilitate and assist in clarifying the key points of the dispute and to assist in arriving at an agreeable resolution that makes litigation and all associated mounting legal and emotional expenditure that may come with litigation unnecessary. It is about assisting all sides of the dispute in exploring and honoring operational realities and focusing on forging new solutions that honor each party's requirements needed to move forward.
